Absolutely great and amazing place to hang-out and to visit new friends/people. It has been launched in September 2006, Virtual Laguna Beach (VLB) has quickly become one of the most successful stand-alone virtual worlds ever created with over 350,000 users registering in the first three months. Electric Sheep partnered with MTV and Makena Technologies (There.com) to bring VLB to life and this partnership has continued through the Virtual Hills, an extension of VLB devoted to the show by the same name which launched in January 2007.

They have some great and official names in this place set up : Pepsi, Cingular, and Proctor and Gamble. Each sponsorship campaign took advantage of the multitude of opportunities afforded by a thriving virtual world, redefining the boundaries of interactive marketing.

Hungry and want to order a pizza? ? In Second Life you can soon order in world pizza’s at the firm pizza.net . Just teleport to Pizza Island. Walk the restaurant inside, and do your thing there. You can pay with your own Lindens, and your pizza will be delivered at your first-life home!Amazing. …  Only for USA this moment….

So, you don’t have to go from your computer now to order a pizza. Just stay on Second life and they bring to to your own home. Oh, there are 60.000 pizza’s you can order…pfff
